This app is far less money if you need that function, unless you can still find KoalaCalc. TapeCalc is a Technology, Collaboration and Electronic Workplace. Two other calculator apps with proper tape displays are TopCalculette ($25) and TapeCalc ($10). and that may be going away as the developers website is unavailable. Does anyone here know of another OS X calculator app that displays a paper tape like an adding machine? How is everybody adding things like a bunch of receipts? The only free/donationware program I know of on OS X that has a useable paper tape function is KoalaCalc. The built-in calculator in OS X does not display numbers aligned by decimal point, making checking values quite difficult. ![]() May calculate how many days there are between two dates or the next date from a starting date. Comments here seem to be overly harsh considering that this is one of the few calculators on OS X that actually displays a useable paper tape with numbers stacked like a traditional adding machine. Gtapecalc is a simple calculator with the added feature of an output window that acts like the paper tape of a desktop calculator.
